How to configure Winamp with DSP to broadcast live content from your broadcasting line out.
Step 1.
First you need to download and install the FREE DSP plug-in from http://www.SHOUTcast.com/download/broadcast.phtml#plugdownload
You need to make sure Winamp is closed before you install the plugin. Run the installer. Then fire up Winamp again.
Step 2.
In the Encoder menu on the Winamp set the bitrate to the rate listed in your confirmation email. (i.e. 64kbps to 128kbps).
Click on the Input menu and set the Input device as Soundcard if it is listed.
If the Soundcard device is selected the sound input will come from line-in of the soundcard device, In the Input Settings set the Sample Rate to 44100Hz.
Plug your audio out (broadcasting station) into the line-in on your sound card.
